Sofronio Española, officially the Municipality of Sofronio Española (Tagalog: Bayan ng Sofronio Española), is a town in the province of Palawan, Philippines, with a population of 37,416 people as of the 2020 census. It is one of the newest municipalities in Palawan, having been created in 1994 when it was separated from Brooke’s Point.

Named after former Palawan Governor Sofronio Española, the town is primarily an agricultural area, with rice, corn, coconut, and cashew as its main crops. Fishing and small-scale livestock production also contribute to the local economy. Despite its relatively recent establishment, Sofronio Española is steadily developing, with infrastructure improvements and initiatives to support its agricultural sector.
