Dumaran, officially the Municipality of Dumaran (Tagalog: Bayan ng Dumaran), is a town in the province of Palawan, with a population of 23,528 people as of the 2020 census. It is located on the eastern coast of mainland Palawan and covers both the northern half of Dumaran Island and a portion of the mainland. The town was formally established as a separate municipality in 1961 when it was split from Araceli.

Dumaran is known for its rich natural resources, including vast mangrove forests, pristine beaches, and fertile agricultural lands, making farming and fishing the backbone of its economy. The town celebrates the annual Kalabukay Festival, named after the Kalabukay or Philippine cockatoo, a critically endangered bird species found in the area. With its blend of natural beauty, wildlife conservation efforts, and a strong agricultural sector, Dumaran continues to develop while maintaining its ecological significance.
