Palawan National School (PNS), in partnership with its Peer Facilitators Club, held the Peer Support Group Session: Kwentuhang Mental Health on September 17 and 19 for students with special needs, Open High School Program (OHSP) learners, and peer facilitators.
Organizers said the activity aimed to deepen connections, build confidence, and improve the emotional well-being of students.
“Na mapalalim ang koneksyon, mapalakas ang loob, at mapabuti ang emotional well-being — mga tanong at mensaheng nagtutulak ng personal growth at reflection,” the organizers said.
They added that the event created a safe and supportive space for the students.
“Isang ligtas at suportadong espasyo kung saan malayang maipahayag ng bawat isa ang kanilang damdamin at karanasan,” they said.
The activity formed part of continuing efforts to promote youth mental health awareness in Puerto Princesa schools.
