Western Philippines University (WPU) has shifted to asynchronous classes until the end of the current semester starting April 6, due to the ongoing national energy crisis and prevailing climatic conditions.
The directive was issued under Memorandum No. OVPAA-2026-017.
Despite the shift, faculty members handling specific courses may still conduct face-to-face sessions if required, particularly for laboratory activities.
The university also encouraged teaching staff to administer final examinations for graduating students from April 7 to April 8.
