Three persons were injured when two motorcycles collided along the national highway in Barangay Bunog, Rizal, Palawan at 5:30 p.m. on September 11.
Police said over the weekend that a Rusi Surf 110 motorcycle was moving north when its driver switched on the left signal light.
A Honda 125 ZL motorcycle coming from behind tried to overtake and struck the first motorcycle. Both vehicles crashed on the cemented road.
“The driver and backrider of the Rusi motorcycle sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the Honda motorcycle was unconscious due to severe head injury,” the Palawan Police Provincial Office said in its report.
All three were rushed by rescuers to Rizal District Hospital for medical attention. As of this writing, no update was given by the police regarding their condition.
The motorcycles were damaged and later brought to the Rizal Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
