A 16-year old male was found dead along the shores of Barangay Punta Baja, Rizal town by police authorities Wednesday morning.
Police Corporal Aeron Rico, case investigator, identified him only as “Alvin”, a resident of Quezon municipality.
Rico said Alvin’s dead body was found along the shores of Purok Liwayway, Punta Baja, by a certain Nonoy Montaño who also reported it to them.
Based on their initial investigation, Rico said Alvin was last seen with his friends identified only as Arnold, Aljabar, and Onyok having a drinking session at his aunt’s house where he temporarily resided.
Alvin and his friends reportedly left the house after drinking together to go to the Rizal Fish Port.
Rico said his friends all went home, leaving him there alone.
The next day at 10:50 a.m., Alvin was found dead.
“Sa part ng investigation namin wala kaming makita na kahit sa physical, sa katawan niya na ano mang saksak. Walang sign na binugbog siya based on the examination ng doktor. Walang nakitang ganoon,” he said.
Rico said Alvin’s friends were also invited to the police station to see if anyone got into a fistfight with him, but nothing told their investigation anything.
“Maaring sa sobrang kalasingan ng biktima gusto niyang magpahinga — nakita namin kasi ‘yong biktima sa bangka na magkatabi mas malapit siya sa isa doon maaring gusto niyang sumakay sa bangka para doon magpahinga. Makikita sa picture na para siyang nakahubad ng pambaba baka siguro basa ‘yong pantalon niya gusto niya hubarin kasi malamig, tapos na out of balance siya at nahulog sa tubig,” he said.
