Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Sec. Roy A. Cimatu has vowed to do everything in his power to protect workers of their agency against “fearless, cunning and greedy” individuals who destroy the country's natural resources for their own selfish interests.
The provincial government will donate 150 shotguns for the use of forest rangers in Palawan to provide them protection while monitoring and patrolling ecologically important areas.
