The seven alleged members of New People’s Army (NPA) who were apprehended in a checkpoint along the national highway in Barangay San Jose, Puerto Princesa City late Friday night were brought to the Office of the City Prosecutor (OCP) on Sunday for inquest proceedings.
Seven persons who claimed to be human rights workers and volunteers have been arrested for illegal possession of firearms and explosives by police and military authorities conducting a checkpoint in Puerto Princesa City late Friday night along the national road in Barangay San Jose.
