In a news statement released Wednesday, the Department of Tourism (DOT) said Palawan's inclusion, along with Boracay's White Beach that placed second, in the travel magazine's annual Readers’ Choice Awards is "sheer recognition of their unparalleled beauty and uniquely diverse resources."
