SM Supermalls shortens weekday hours nationwide amid energy crisis

SM Supermalls will reduce weekday operating hours across all its branches nationwide starting March 30 due to the ongoing national energy emergency.

“In response to the National Energy Emergency, SM Supermalls will reduce weekday operating hours across the Philippines starting March 30,” the company said in a Facebook post Thursday evening.

The mall operator urged shoppers to check updated schedules for their preferred branches on the official SM Supermalls website or social media pages before visiting.

At its Puerto Princesa branch, operating hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
