Sentro Vinta offers a quieter take on Puerto Princesa’s nightlife

For those looking to unwind without the loud music often associated with bars, Sentro Vinta, the newest restaurant and bar of Holiday Suites Business District, offers a quieter alternative where dining, conversations, and business gatherings take center stage.

Located within Holiday Suites Business District along Rizal Avenue, Sentro Vinta was created to complement the hotel’s services while introducing a concept that combines a restaurant, chill bar, and meeting venue in one accessible location. The establishment caters to business travelers, professionals, corporate employees, hotel guests, families, and groups seeking a relaxed space to dine, meet, or simply spend the evening.

Reservation Officer Sheila Buenafe said the idea behind Sentro Vinta is to provide guests with an atmosphere where conversations remain the focus.

“Pinagkaiba niya dito is not too loud. Pwede siyang chill lang talaga, parang restaurant type lang talaga tayo. We offer cocktails and wines, hindi hard drinks, kaya chill place lang talaga siya,” Buenafe said.

Unlike conventional bars that feature loud music, Sentro Vinta offers a laid-back dining experience paired with cocktails, wines, and a menu inspired by Spanish flavors, allowing guests to enjoy both food and conversation in a comfortable setting.

“More on Spanish tayo sa food and drinks,” she added.
Buenafe said Sentro Vinta caters not only to business travelers but also to professionals, corporate employees, working individuals, and other diners looking for a comfortable place to have dinner and unwind after work.

“Ang target market namin ay hindi lang mga businessmen, kundi pati mga professionals, corporate employees, at working individuals na naghahanap ng magandang lugar para mag-dinner at mag-relax pagkatapos ng trabaho. Gusto naming maging go-to place nila para makapag-chill at makapag-unwind. Hanggang 11:00 p.m. lang kami dahil ang focus namin ay magbigay ng komportable at relaxing dining experience para sa aming target clientele,” Buenafe said.

Complementing its restaurant and bar services are private meeting rooms that can accommodate corporate meetings, study groups, presentations, seminars, interviews, workshops, contract signings, and other intimate gatherings.

Sales Manager May Cristine Tabastabas said the concept was developed to provide guests with a venue where business and leisure can seamlessly come together.
“Magchi-chill lang, parang business meeting. For example may client ka, dito kayo magmi-meeting, magsi-sign ng contract,” Tabastabas said.

She said the integration of the restaurant, bar, and meeting facilities within Holiday Suites makes the venue more convenient for guests.

“Mas convenient siya kasi malapit lang. Nandito na ang meeting rooms, restaurant, at bar sa isang lugar. Maganda ang accessibility niya. Pagkatapos ng meeting o trabaho, hindi na kailangan pang lumayo para mag-dinner o mag-chill,” she said.

According to Tabastabas, Sentro Vinta also fills a niche in the local dining scene by offering a venue where guests can comfortably socialize without the usual loud atmosphere found in many bars.

“Pwede kang mag-chill habang nag-uusap kayo nang maayos at nagkakarinigan. Iyon ang gusto naming concept,” she said.

The establishment currently offers four meeting rooms designed for different group sizes:
– Alpha – ₱1,500 per hour (15–30 persons)
– Beta – ₱1,500 per hour (up to 14 persons)
– Theta – ₱800 per hour (up to eight persons)
– Sigma – ₱800 per hour (up to four persons)
–
Guests booking the meeting rooms may also order food and beverages directly from Sentro Vinta, providing added convenience for business meetings, workshops, and private functions.

To introduce the new concept, Holiday Suites has been conducting sales visits to local businesses while working with travel agencies, tour operators, suppliers, and local content creators to reach a wider audience.
Buenafe said Sentro Vinta is open daily from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., while the hotel’s restaurant continues to serve breakfast, lunch, and other meals during the day.

Although the establishment has only recently opened, the management said its immediate goal is to become a preferred dining destination for its target market while continuously improving its services.

“Bagong bukas pa lang kami, pero ang layunin ng Sentro Vinta ay maging preferred or familiar dining destination siya ng market namin. At habang lumalago ang market at nakikinig kami sa feedback ng aming mga guests, patuloy naming ie-enhance ang aming menu, serbisyo, at overall experience para mas makapagbigay ng mas magandang value sa aming customers,” Buenafe said.

Combining restaurant dining, cocktails, wines, and private meeting spaces in one location, Sentro Vinta offers another dining option in Puerto Princesa for professionals, corporate employees, business travelers, families, and other guests seeking a relaxed venue for meals, meetings, and after-work gatherings.
