The local government of Rizal has acquired new agricultural and road equipment aimed at strengthening farm productivity and improving road infrastructure, officials said.
The initiative forms part of a loan-funded program to modernize agriculture and enhance public services in the municipality.
Among the newly procured equipment are two combine harvesters, one rice transplanter with 60 sets of seedling trays, 20 manual corn seeders, five farm tractors including units with disc plows, four dump trucks with 20 cubic meter capacity, one light-duty truck, and one light mixer truck with a six cubic meter capacity.
The local government said the equipment is expected to improve farming efficiency, increase agricultural output, and support the livelihood of farmers. It will also accelerate road maintenance and construction, ensuring better connectivity across communities.
Officials said the project is part of broader efforts to upgrade infrastructure and deliver more efficient services while promoting long-term development in Rizal.
