A crocodile was seen and photographed by residents at Simunong River in Barangay Suwangan, Quezon, Palawan on November 5, at the height of Typhoon Tino.
Jeffrey De Asis said the crocodile they saw swimming in the river was large.
“Kahapon po ‘yan mga alas 2 ng hapon sa ilog. Hindi po nakuha pero nakunan lamang po ng litrato,” De Asis told Palawan News.
He added that this is not new to them because a crocodile was also seen in the same river last month.
“Pangalawang beses na po ‘yan kasi may nakita narin kaming buwaya dyan noong nakaraang buwan,” he said.
Residents living near the river have been advised to take precautions due to the presence of the crocodile.
