The prevailing inter tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is bringing rains over Palawan, the state weather bureau said.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services (PAGASA) local chief Sonny Pajarilla said that the rains brought by the ITCZ could be experienced in the province within three days.

“Malayo ‘yong bagyo, wala ‘yon epekto sa atin. ITCZ talaga ang nagpapaulan sa atin. Within three days ay may mga pag-ulan-ulan na ganito. Madaming energy dahil mainit ang ating atmosphere kaya tuloy-tuloy ang feed ng water vapor,” he said.

Pajarilla said that the weather outlook will be mostly cloudy until Thursday with is 40 to 50 percent chance of rains from Wednesday to Thursday.

He said that the rains experienced on November 26 can be considered as a light condition.
