A 44-year old woman was nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Baltan Street, Barangay San Miguel, Thursday evening.
P/Maj. Lorence Bataller, Station Commander of Puerto Princesa City Police Office Station 1 identified the woman as Janet Palcis Gallejo from the same barangay.
Gallejo was under police surveillance for one week before apprehension.
“Isang linggo na namin siyang minamanmanan dahil palipat lipat siya ng transaksyon. Minsan makokontak siya ng aming pusher/buyer, minsan hindi, kaya tumagal tayo,” he said.
Bought from her was one sachet of suspected shabu in exchange of P500.
Bataller said that they are still verifying the records of Gallejo but she was known by the name “Mommy”.
He also mentioned that they received a call from Gallejo’s source.
“Aftter niya mahuli actually tumatawag pa nga tong pinagkukunan niya. Pero ang problema mukhang nakahalata kasi nag-iba siya ng tono ng pananalita. Nawalan ng signal bigla ‘yong kaniyang kausap, hindi na natin na-contact kagabi,” he said.
In addition, Bataller left a message for the drug suspects.
“Magbago na kayo para hindi na maapektuhan ang buhay niyo at higit sa lahat wag na madamay ang pamilya ninyo.
