Isang lalaki ang sinaksak sa dibdib ng kapwa residente sa labas ng barangay hall sa Brgy. Aporawan, Aborlan, southern Palawan, madaling araw ng April 29, matapos umanong bigla siyang lapitan at atakihin nang walang malinaw na dahilan.
Sa paunang imbestigasyon, sinabi ng Palawan Police Provincial Office (PalPPO) na nasa labas ng barangay hall ang biktima na si alias Jayjay kasama ang ilang kaibigan bandang 12:10 a.m. nang dumating ang suspek na si alias Ondoy at agad siyang sinaksak sa dibdib gamit ang kitchen knife.
Walang naitalang malinaw na motibo sa pag-atake, ayon sa imbestigasyon, at itinuturing ng pulisya na biglaan ang insidente batay sa mga salaysay ng mga saksi.
Matapos ang pananaksak, tumakas ang suspek patungo sa hindi matukoy na direksyon.
Narekober sa pinangyarihan ng krimen ang ginamit na kutsilyo na may habang siyam na pulgada kasama ang hawakan.
Isinugod ang biktima sa pinakamalapit na pagamutan, habang patuloy ang follow-up operation ng Aborlan Municipal Police Station para sa agarang pagkakaaresto sa suspek na nananatiling at large.
Habang isinusulat ito ay wala pang update kung nahuli na ang suspek.

Police search for suspect in Aborlan stabbing case
A man was stabbed in the chest by a fellow resident outside the barangay hall in Brgy. Aporawan, Aborlan, southern Palawan, in the early hours of April 29 after he was reportedly approached and attacked without any clear reason.
In an initial investigation, the Palawan Police Provincial Office (PalPPO) said the victim, identified as alias Jayjay, was outside the barangay hall with several friends around 12:10 a.m. when the suspect, alias Ondoy, arrived and immediately stabbed him in the chest using a kitchen knife.
No clear motive has been established, and police consider the attack sudden based on witness accounts.
After the stabbing, the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
The knife used in the attack was recovered at the crime scene and measured nine inches long, including the handle.
The victim was rushed to the nearest hospital, while the Aborlan Municipal Police Station continues follow-up operations for the immediate arrest of the suspect, who remains at large.
As of this writing, there is no update yet on whether the suspect has been arrested.
