A casual employee of the local government of Roxas, Palawan, was arrested in an operation conducted by authorities on the morning of June 20 at Purok Seaside, Barangay 4, after he was allegedly caught selling suspected illegal drugs.
The suspect, identified by the alias “Rommel,” is 25 years old and a resident of Barangay 3. Authorities said he is listed as a high-value individual.
Seized from his possession were approximately 2.03 grams of suspected illegal substance with an estimated value of ₱13,900.
He is currently in the custody of the Roxas Municipal Police Station and is facing charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
