The Palawan Fanciers Club’s (PFC) last pigeon race for 2019 is set to launch on December 14, the hobby group announced recently.

The upcoming race will have two categories – newbies and seniors categories. The senior participants will release their pigeons from Langogan back to their lofts while the newbies will release their pigeons from Bahile crossing back to their lofts.

The 1st placer will receive an award of P2,000 while the 2nd placer will get P1,000 and P500 for the 3rd placer.

PFC president Jay Ocampo also said that their group has increased from less than 20 to about 50 members, which is a combination of seniors and newbies.

He said that the PFC is also planning to conduct a pigeon race in the southern part of Palawan.

Masaya ito, nakakawala ng stress,” he said.

He said that the cut off time for the finishers is at 5 p.m. on the day of the race. The registration deadline has been set on December 10.
