Agricultural products from Palawan were the main attraction of the Agraryo Trade Fair 2024, which took place from October 15 to 18 at the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Central Office.
The agrarian reform beneficiaries’ (ARBs) products were showcased at the event, which paid tribute to the province’s agricultural sector and the cooperatives.
With the theme “Kababaihan sa Kanayunan: Kabalikat sa Repormang Agraryo para sa Maunlad at Matatag na Bagong Pilipinas,” the trade fair emphasized the important role of rural women in agrarian development and their contributions to nation-building.
Among the standout participants were Palawan’s Sandoval-Mendoza Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Agri-based Multi-Purpose Cooperative, which wowed attendees with its Roasted Cashew, a top-tier local product known for its flavor and quality.
Also representing Palawan was the Elvita Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, offering unique varieties of Kapi a Bagas (Rice Coffee) with Malunggay and a healthier version featuring Stevia, merging local flavors with health-conscious ingredients.
The Aborlan Rainbow Multi-Purpose Cooperative also gained attention with its premium Pili Nuts, a local favorite known for its rich taste and health benefits.
The event served as an opportunity for Palawan’s ARBOs to showcase their products to a wider market, promoting growth and sustainability for the province’s farmers.
