The Palawan Police Provincial Office (PPO) on May 20 formally received three motorcycles donated by the office of Sen. Erwin Tulfo, aimed at strengthening police mobility and operational response in far-flung municipalities across the province.
The blessing and ceremonial turnover were held at the PPO Multi-Purpose Hall in Barangay Tiniguiban and attended by provincial police officials and stakeholders.
The motorcycles were turned over to the chiefs of police of Agutaya, Araceli, and Dumaran, where limited road access and long travel distances often challenge law enforcement response time.
Palawan PPO Provincial Director Joel D. CasupanAn said the additional units are expected to enhance police visibility, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen rapid response capabilities in island and coastal communities.
The turnover activity was graced by a representative from Sen. Tulfo’s office, with officials acknowledging the donation as part of continued support for law enforcement modernization and mobility enhancement.
The motorcycles were also blessed by a Catholic priest before being formally deployed to recipient stations.
Police officials expressed gratitude for the donation, saying the added mobility assets will significantly improve public safety operations and law enforcement presence in remote areas of Palawan.
