Irish singer Niall Horan shared a nostalgic experience in El Nido after unexpectedly hearing a One Direction song while on vacation.
Horan recounted in a podcast that the moment happened during a quiet beach stay, when a familiar track played from a nearby shack. He described the experience as “really random,” especially as he took in the tropical scenery.
Despite his global fame, Horan admitted he does not always feel comfortable hearing his own music in public, making the encounter more surprising.
The moment underscores the enduring global reach of One Direction, whose music continues to resonate with fans across continents—including destinations as remote as Palawan.
Horan also spoke about his upcoming album, Dinner Party, set for release on June 5, which explores themes of love and the fear of loss.
The singer last visited the Philippines in May 2024 for his “The Show” tour, performing at the Mall of Asia Arena and drawing thousands of Filipino fans.
