The municipal government of Narra is set to ban the parking of petroleum tankers along its municipal roads.
Mayor Gerandy Danao said he will issue an order next week declaring the act as “dangerous to the public.”
Baka mamaya ay may madisgrasya d’yan,” he said.
Danao said fuel tankers should only park in their respective gasoline stations.
Madalas kasi silang nasa tabing kalsada kasi kumakain sila o may iba pa silang ginagawa. Pero delikado nga kasi kaya gusto natin na ipagbawal ‘yan,” he pointed out.
Danao added that the trucks are also obstructing the roads from public access and they can be the cause of accidents.
He said his office will no longer wait for an accident to actually happen before he makes a decision.
Danao also said the immediate implementation of the order will solve the traffic problem of the town.
