Reelected Narra vice-mayor Crispin Lumba, Jr. assured support to the administration of newly-elected mayor Gerandy Danao during their oathtaking ceremony held Friday.

In his speech, vice-mayor Lumba assured Danao of his support and the support of the Municipal Council.

Municipal councilor Cenon Garcia also vowed support to the administration of Danao.

Danao, who cracked jokes in between his speech, meanwhile, recalled that during the campaign, he only had water in long-distance walks to talk to people in every house.

Totoo po yan,” Danao said to the attendees of his inauguration.

Paying tribute to the contributions of the Demaalas to the progress of Narra, he said they made the municipality into what it is today which will serve as his inspiration to responsibly perform his duty as a leader.

The oathtaking ceremony was facilitated by Executive Judge Angelo Arizala.

The son of former mayor Prince Demaala IV was among those who attended the ceremony.
