A fire from a small tank of liquefied petroleum gas broke out Saturday morning in a house located inside the Tactical Operations Wing West (TOW West) but was declared “fire out” in about five minutes.

Captain Carl Villares, spokesperson of the TOW West, said the fire started from a “gasulito” inside the home of one of their personnel whose wife was cooking food at 11 a.m.

A fire truck from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in the city also responded, but the fire had already been completely put out.

Villares said no one was injured in the minor fire incident.

He said an investigation will also be conducted by TOW West to determine how the fire started from the small LPG tank.
