“Namatay yong victim 2:20 a.m. ng parehong araw din,” a personnel of the Taytay MPS told Palawan News on Monday.

According to a preliminary report from the Palawan Police Provincial Office (PPPO), the incident was reported to the Taytay Municipal Police Station (MPS) at 12:30 a.m. by the Bato barangay captain.

An investigation showed that a dance party was being conducted in conjunction with the impending barangay festival. During the occasion, a separate commotion allegedly ensued between the victim and the suspect, both of whom were said to be under the influence of alcohol.
