While assisting a stuck 10-wheeler truck off of mud, a 37-year old man was accidentally crushed to death in Barangay Candawaga, Rizal on Sunday afternoon.

The victim was identified as Mark Anthony Claros Rivera, a resident of Tru-cut, Brgy. Punta Baja, Rizal.

According to the police report, Rivera and two other companions, Jonard Montaño and Reynaldo Reyes, were helping a white 10-wheeler dump truck that was stuck in the mud.

The victim was in the middle of the two vehicles to give the signal to the driver of the payloader in pulling the truck and also detaching a cable wire when he was accidentally crushed by the two vehicles.

The driver of the payloader truck was identified as Eduardo Composano Realino, a 69-year old local resident.

The victim sustained injuries and was immediately rushed to the Rizal District Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physicians.

Realino is now detained at the custodial facility of the Rizal Municipal Station for Proper disposition.
