A man was arrested for stealing four BNY polo shirts amounting to P5,200 from Unitop Mall, Malvar St., Barangay Tagumpay, Saturday afternoon.

In a report sent by P/Col. Socrates Faltado, spokesperson of Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, he identified the suspect as Airston Tabulod Tumbagahan, 24-years-old from Brgy. San Pedro while Unitop Mall was represented by its secretary Maricel Espina Abiao.

Abiao reported the incident on the same day at the Puerto Princesa City Police Office (PPCPO) Station 1.

The investigation disclosed that the suspect carted away the items but the security personnel of the mall were able to apprehend the suspect and was turned over to the station.
The suspect will be facing a case of theft.
