The city police are investigating the shooting of a fish vendor Friday in Barangay Luzviminda.

P/Lt. Col. Socrates Faltado, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office in MIMAROPA, said the suspect, a certain Glenn Ibarra,47, shot dead a Bobby Molina, 45, who was an itinerant fish vendor.

The suspect, a NAPOCOR operation and maintenance technician, was reportedly having a drinking session with two companions when he called the victim ostensibly to buy fish.

The police report did not identify the motive and circumstances that led the suspect to shoot the victim.

Recovered from Ibarra was a caliber .45 pistol, one magazine with 9 live ammunition and another four live ammunition inside his blue sling bag.
