With a staggering one billion pesos at stake, ArenaPlus is raising the bar unlike any other platform with its free-to-play contest, Playoffs MVP: Battle for the Most Valuable Predictor, running from March 21 to April 10.
With no deposit, no wagers, and no entry fees, no less than Gilas Pilipinas and PBA superstar Justin Brownlee is urging his fellow Filipinos aged 21 and up to try out the brackets prediction game on ArenaPlus, the number one PAGCOR-licensed online sportsbook.
“All fans, make sure you join the [Playoffs] MVP challenge. One billion pesos, [there’s] nothing to lose. So, make sure you join,” Brownlee said.
“Man, it’s huge. It’s bigger than the lottery. Especially if you’re a sports fan and you’ve been following Playoffs basketball, I think it’ll be very fun, you know. I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of losers, of course, but that one special person, it’ll be really exciting and it’ll be a special moment.”
Essentially a creative take on the March Madness bracket games of the American NCAA, the DigiPlus-owned ArenaPlus is giving a shot to win its bewilderingly massive ₱1 billion prize to the player who can correctly predict all Playoffs matchups, the winning teams for each round, and the exact number of games each series will take until a champion is crowned.
Each eligible participant will receive two free prediction tickets, giving them two chances to submit their entries.
In addition, all valid prediction tickets will automatically qualify for raffle draws, where participants can win cash prizes, including ₱1,000,000 each for 10 winners and ₱100,000 each for 100 winners.
