Fair and hot weather will continue across much of the country on Monday, April 6, as a ridge of a high-pressure area affects large parts of the Philippines, PAGASA said.
In its update, PAGASA said the weather system is influencing Northern and Central Luzon, bringing clearer skies, higher temperatures, and low chances of rain.
“Patuloy na ridge of high pressure area ang nakakaapekto dito sa main Northern at Central Luzon. Itong ridge of high pressure area ay nagdadala ng maaliwalas at mainit na panahon,” said weather specialist Chanel Dominguez.
Most areas are expected to remain dry, but isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may still occur in the afternoon or evening, especially in Bicol Region and MIMAROPA.
No low-pressure area or tropical cyclone is being monitored inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, although cloud clusters are being observed outside the country’s boundary.
