The city police on Friday nabbed two robbery hold-up suspects who reportedly took away P33,600 from a farmer in Barangay Isaub, Aborlan.

The suspects were identified in a spot report sent by Police Regional Office (PRO) MIMAROPA spokesperson P/Col. Socrates Faltado as Mark Annjoe M. Medina, 21, and Gerald B. Canong, 30, both residents of Sitio Bucana, Brgy. Matahimik, Puerto Princesa, City.

Their robbery hold-up victim was identified as farmer Richard T. Gabrillo of Isaub, Aborlan.

The police report indicated that about 2:45 p.m. on August 16, the suspects robbed Gabrillo of his money while he was in his parked multicab along the national highway in Isaub.

Medina and Canong allegedly poked a knife at him to force him to give his wallet containing the P33,600.

They then fled to Puerto Princesa where they were later arrested by personnel of the City Mobile Force Company.

A sachet of marijuana was also found in the motorcycle they used as getaway vehicle, the spot report said.
