The third victim in the vehicular accident that happened in Narra on Monday afternoon had died, a police officer at the Narra Municipal Police Station (MPS) said.
P/SSgt. Vincent Cuaton said Rowena Talungab, died at the Narra Municipal Hospital (NMH) on the night of July 22, hours after her she was brought there for serious head and body injuries.
Talungab was the mother of the one-year-old child who also died in the accident with her uncle Rolando Talungar Jr., Cuaton clarified.
They died when the motorcycle they were riding on figured in a head-on collision with a truck near an electric lamp post in Barangay Malatgao, according to a police report earlier.
They were all residents of Sitio Tigman, Brgy. Plaridel, Aborlan town.
A case of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide and damage to property will be filed against Anthony John Langhi, 26, the driver of an Isuzu elf truck from Wescom Road, Brgy. San Manuel.
According to the initial investigation, Talungar’s motorcycle was traversing the national highway from Brgy. Sandoval going to Brgy. Malatgao when it was hit by the Isuzu elf truck that was coming from the opposite direction.
Talungar, his wife and their child were thrown off the motorcycle due to the impact of the accident.
