Electric fans were distributed to Tabon Elementary School and Panitian Elementary School in the municipality of Quezon on January 9.
These donations, provided by a private agency, were entrusted to the provincial government to support public schools in Palawan and improve learning conditions for students.
Governor Dennis Socrates personally delivered the electric fans and met with teachers and students to better understand their needs. He emphasized his administration’s commitment to improving education, highlighting that addressing the needs of public schools is a top priority of his programs.
The teachers and students expressed their deep gratitude, noting that the electric fans would significantly help alleviate the heat inside classrooms, particularly during the summer months.
The governor’s visit also provided a platform for educators to share their concerns and requirements for further school improvements, reinforcing the provincial government’s dedication to enhancing the learning environment across the province.
