Authorities identified and located a 55-year-old man with a pending frustrated murder case in El Nido, Palawan on May 18.
According to the Police Regional Office (PRO) MIMAROPA, the individual, identified by the alias “Romeo,” was arrested in Sitio Manlalic, Barangay Manlag, based on a court-issued warrant in connection with the case. Bail was set at ₱200,000.
The successful operation was carried out through the coordination of the El Nido Municipal Police Station (MPS), Palawan Police Provincial Office (PalPPO), Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), 4th Platoon 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), and the 401st B MC Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB).
The man is currently under the care of El Nido MPS and is expected to be presented in court for the appropriate legal proceedings.
