The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office MIMAROPA has partnered with Anihan Technical School and Palawan Group of Companies to provide qualified Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries with skills training, employment opportunities and insurance benefits.
The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed by the three parties.
Under the agreement, Anihan Technical School will provide scholarships for skills training to qualified 4Ps beneficiaries, with employment opportunities available after they complete their training.
The initiative seeks to connect skills development directly with actual job opportunities, giving beneficiaries a pathway toward more stable sources of income.
Meanwhile, PPS Insurance Agency (PPSIA), Palawan Group of Companies’ insurance arm, will provide Palawan ProtekTODO insurance benefits to beneficiaries and sponsorship support for initiatives intended to promote their welfare and development.
The DSWD said the partnership is designed to provide beneficiaries not only with skills and employment opportunities but also with additional social protection.
The partnership is part of efforts to help 4Ps families move toward greater economic independence by combining skills development, access to employment and protection against financial risks.
