Beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program can now use guarantee letters in select Generika Drugstore branches nationwide, the agency said.
A guarantee letter is issued by the DSWD to qualified beneficiaries to cover payment for accredited providers for medical, burial, and other forms of assistance.
“Beneficiaries of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations can now easily get medicines because they can use DSWD Guarantee Letters in select Generika Drugstore branches across the country,” the agency said in an advisory.
The DSWD said beneficiaries may secure the guarantee letter from the nearest DSWD Field Office or Social Welfare and Development Office.
“Just look for the signage ‘DSWD Guarantee Letter is accepted here’ in participating Generika Drugstore branches near you,” it added.
