A suspected drug personality was arrested in an operation conducted by the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Palawan, in Barangay Tagburos yesterday, March 22.
Authorities seized from the unnamed suspect a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, which he allegedly sold to a poseur buyer for ₱2,000.
A Caliber .45 pistol and a cellphone reportedly used in the transaction were also confiscated.
The suspect, who remains in police custody, will face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Republic Act 10591 or the Illegal Possession of Firearms Act, and COMELEC Gun Ban Resolution No. 11067.
