A driver was reported safe after her vehicle crashed into a roadside signage in Sitio Magarwak, Barangay Sta. Lourdes, Puerto Princesa City, around midnight on August 8.
The driver, identified as Cindy Delos Santos, 24, a businesswoman from Abanico Road, Barangay San Pedro, in the same city, was allegedly on her way home from Taytay when the incident occurred.
According to the investigation, Delos Santos lost control of her Mirage G4 due to speeding on a curved section of the road. The vehicle overshot the curve and collided with a signage on the side of the road.
While Delos Santos emerged unscathed from the accident, her vehicle sustained damage to the front section due to the impact. The vehicle has since been taken to Police Station 2 for further investigation.
