A drinking spree led to a stabbing incident in Brgy. Masagana, El Nido on Friday Friday night.
The victim was identified as Francis Dela Cruz Edep, 22-years old, while the suspect was named as Jonathan Revillas Edep, 30-years old, and a construction worker.
Both are residents of Barangay Poblacion, Taytay municipality.
The police reports said the victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree at Significo Vista Venture Inn when Jonathan went to the toolbox, got a knife, and without provocation stabbed Francis on different body parts of his body.
The suspect was immediately arrested by responding personnel of the El Nido Municipal Police Station (MPS) where he is currently detained.
