The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 2nd District Engineering Office has completed the concreting of a 285-linear meter road in Barangay Antipuluan, Narra.
The DPWH in Mimaropa said the project aims to alleviate frequent mud and flooding issues that disrupt the transport of goods from the community.
Palawan 2nd District Engineer Noel Fuentebella informed DPWH Mimaropa Regional Director Gerald Pacanan about the completion.
“This improvement has not only benefitted daily commuters but also supported local economic activities by ensuring a more reliable and durable transportation network, thereby contributing to the overall development and quality of life in the region,” said the DPWH Mimaropa.
The project includes a 5-meter-wide concrete road with drainage, funded under the Basic Infrastructure Program, improving transportation reliability and supporting local economic activities.
