Aspiring first-year college students in Palawan can take the Central Philippine University College Aptitude Test in Puerto Princesa City on September 5.
Central Philippine University is bringing the CPUCAT to Palawan Hope Christian School along Manalo Street, sparing local applicants from traveling to Iloilo for the entrance examination.
Students may choose between two testing sessions, scheduled at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The examination is for those applying for admission to the university for School Year 2027–2028.
Applicants are encouraged to reserve a slot by completing the pre-registration form available through the QR code in CPU’s announcement.
On the day of the examination, students must present a school ID, passport or any other valid identification card. They should also bring a No. 2 pencil with an eraser.
The examination fee is ₱450 and is non-refundable.
CPU released the testing schedule on August 6. Puerto Princesa is one of two locations selected for the university’s off-campus entrance examination. Another test will be held in Koronadal City on September 26.
