(UPDATED) Police authorities in Coron are set to file a case of physical injury and malicious mischief against a Czech national for allegedly hitting a Pinoy assistant cook and destroying his motorcycle on July 15.
Coron Municipal Police Station (MPS) chief P/Maj. Thirz Starky Timbancaya identified the suspect on Saturday as Jiri Pecokna and his victim as Jade Magos Razote.
Pecokna figured in a viral video that was posted also on July 15 by Coron businessman Edward Pe, who accused him of hitting their establishment’s assistant cook twice and for destroying his motorcycle with a big stone.

Pe added that Razote ran to the house of a certain “uncle Benjie” because of his fear. Due to this, Pecokna turned to his motorcycle and destroyed it.
His video had been shared over 1,900 times and had received more than 2,000 comments from netizens.
Timbancaya said after viewing the viral video, they invited the foreign national on Friday, July 19, but he did not appear in the police station.
He said Razote will be filing a case against Pecokna for physical injury and malicious mischief next week.
