Coast Guard District Palawan had a briefing and seaborne patrolling in preparation for Undas 2019.

The Coast Guard District Palawan (CGDP) has deployed all its floating assets and has gone into a full alert status in anticipation of the forthcoming Undas holiday.

Lieutenant Commander Christian Jazmin, CGDP spokesperson, said they have conducted briefings to determine the deployment of their personnel and have coordinated with other agencies to put up Malasakit Centers in their sub-stations to facilitate possible medical emergencies.

“Ito activity natin isinagawa para sa paghahanda ng Philippine Coast Guard Palawan District para sa parating na Undas, totally nakahanda po talaga para tulungan ang ating mga kababayan na nangangailangan sa darating na Undas,” he said.

He said one of their concerns is to prevent overloading of passengers on sea vessels traveling to island municipalities.

He said they will put up “Malasakit Centers” in every substation which will have a medical unit, K9 units, and manned by duty personnel.
