Palawan will expect mostly cloudy weather with passing light rains until Monday, according to the Philippine, Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Sonny Pajarilla, PAGASA local chief, said partial rain showers may be experienced along with the existence of the northeast monsoon or amihan.

“Magiging mostly cloudy tayo, may amihan tayo plus tail-end of cold front sa intersection na papasok sa atin. May inaasahan na pag-ulan-ulan tayo within the day, pero bukas ay mostly cloudy lang pero di na inaasahan ang pag-ulan,” Pajarilla said.

(We will be mostly cloudy with northeast monsoon plus tail-end of a cold front in the intersection that will enter. We can experience rain within the day and then it will be mostly cloudy with no more rains.)

The northeast monsoon will be more enhanced starting Sunday until Monday and the oceans will be affected as the current of the waves will intensify until Monday.
