Palawan is expected to experience slight to cloudy skies with chances of rains due to localized thunderstorms, according to a report of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Lanie Lyn Bitagun, weather specialist, said that the areas will be affected by rain showers in the afternoon or evening.
“Sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon, bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan at may posibilidad o tyansa ng pag-ulan dulot pa rin ng localized thunderstorm pagdating ng hapon o sa gabi,” Bitagun said.
Puerto Princesa City may experience a maximum of 33 degree Celsius of maximum temperature for the day.
The frontal system or the boundary of warm and cold wind affects northern Luzon, while Visayas and Mindanao experience Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
Bitagan added that a slight to moderate sea current is expected all over the country and it is favorable for sea transportation even for small boats.
“Wala pa rin nakataas na gale warning o banta ng matataas na alon, malaya pa rin makakapalaot ang ating mga kababayan, asahan ang slight to moderate na pag-alon sa alin man baybayin ng ating bansa,” she added.
