Brooke’s Point launched a skills training program on November 24 at Ilagan Hall in Barangay Poblacion District II to strengthen the livelihoods of Indigenous microentrepreneurs and local artisans through product development and business training.
The local government said the activity aimed to improve the competitiveness of homegrown crafts and microenterprises by providing participants with practical guidance on enterprise growth, design enhancement and marketing.
Mayor Cesareo Benedito Jr. said the municipality continues to support initiatives that uplift small producers and promote local industries.
Officials said the training forms part of efforts to widen market access for Indigenous and artisan products and help communities in Brooke’s Point build more stable sources of income.
