Seventeen crew members and guests were rescued on Wednesday after their boat overturned yesterday morning between Cadlao Island and Ipil Beach in El Nido.
According to a Coast Guard Northern Palawan (CGSNP) report, Chanly Rosacena, the skipper of the El Nido Yachting Club, called them at around 10:40 a.m. to ask for assistance with MBCA. Breanah-1, Sean.
The boat was carrying 14 passengers, the boat captain, and two crew when it capsized between Cadlao Island and Ipil Beach.
The CGSNP said they immediately sent a search and rescue team, using MB Excalibur 0109, from the modular floating dock.
