The Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) of Bataraza is strengthening partnerships with neighboring local government units, government agencies and other institutions to improve rehabilitation and community reintegration programs for individuals undergoing recovery.
The initiative aims to improve coordination among LGUs and partner agencies, including the sharing of programs and experiences and the implementation of interventions for people undergoing rehabilitation and reintegration.
Bataraza LGU said the strengthened network is also intended to improve referral systems, monitoring and aftercare support for rehabilitation program beneficiaries.
The municipal government emphasized that sustained support from families, barangays, LGUs and communities is necessary to help individuals undergoing rehabilitation return to their families and participate productively in society.
Through MADAC, Bataraza said it is pursuing a coordinated, community-based approach that covers not only prevention and intervention but also rehabilitation and long-term reintegration.
Bataraza LGU said stronger ties among local governments and partner agencies are expected to help ensure that people in rehabilitation programs receive appropriate referrals, monitoring, aftercare and other forms of support.
