Bataraza sets priority interventions in new capacity dev’t plan

The Bataraza local government, together with development partners and facilitators, held the Capacity Development Framework and CapDev Agenda Workshop to assess its governance performance and identify priority interventions for the coming years.

The workshop aimed to evaluate the current capacities of Bataraza LGU offices, determine areas that require improvement, and develop a strategic Capacity Development Agenda to guide institutional strengthening.

Representatives from various departments participated in the discussions and used diagnostic tools to assess performance in leadership, human resource management, service delivery, policy making, financial management, and community engagement.

A key output of the activity was the formulation of the LGU’s Capacity Development Agenda, which outlines targeted programs such as leadership enhancement, technical skills training, digitalization initiatives, improved monitoring and evaluation systems, and community centered development strategies.
