International singer Apl.de.Ap performed at the St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Parish Church courtyard during the town fiesta, drawing local crowds as he returned to his roots.
The founding member of the Black Eyed Peas also shared updates on his agricultural initiative in the municipality, which focuses on coconut, cacao, and moringa farming.
“Took it back to where it all began. Had a great time doing the fiesta in Brooke’s Point and then checked on the set of coconut, cacao, and moringa trees I planted in October. Continue to be inspired by what this agricultural revolution can mean for the farmers in this country,” he said in a social media post.
Apl.de.Ap, whose real name is Allan Pineda Lindo, is currently engaged in an agricultural farming project in Brooke’s Point aimed at supporting local farmers and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
